{watch out!}

We officially have a crawler! Monday morning we woke up and ate breakfast just like every other day and then C quickly showed us that life as we knew it would never be the same. He pushed up onto his hands and knees and off he went. B and I have been in super baby proofing mode since then. Of course we did the obvious, but C keeps pointing out what else needs moved, removed, raised, glued down, etc. I tried to get pics of him crawling but it was hard because every time he notices the camera he stops and smiles, so here is what I got.

All this crawling makes him so tired, so sweet;)

{Father's Day}

The bestest new Daddy on the planet! Since B was going to have to work on Father's Day Cooper and I honored him a day early. Cooper got him a trailer for his bike so they can go on bike rides together. There is even room for Dillon if Cooper decides to share.

They took it out for a test drive, but it is way to hot to for a ride.
This should have been my mother's day present, haha, cause I see some Mommie time coming:)
Happy Father's Day B.

{10 months}

My baby is 10 months old! He is getting more and more independent daily. He prefers to eat finger foods over being fed with a spoon so he can do it himself. He will only take his favorites from a spoon and he is not easily tricked into anything else. He is a carnivore, making sure all the chicken is gone before moving on to anything else. With 7 teeth, he is making it work.
He continues to scoot around the house and pull up onto his knees. Everyday we watch him closely because we know he will be crawling any day.
He is also waving and saying "bye bye" to everyone, which is too cute for words. This month we plan on incorporating sign language daily so we can better communicate with C while he is developing his language.
He is also finally acting a little interested in reading books. In the past I have felt so defeated as I have read to him and he would slowly wander away, but now he will sit and look at the book, feeling the pages and help turn to the next page while I read!
As you might be able to tell by the picture he has become a cheese ball when the camera is focused on him. It is hard to get a picture of what he might be doing because as soon as he hears the camera he stops and grins. Although it is hard to get a picture of him in action I love having a baby who enjoys being in front of the camera. As B said the other day, "that's my boy," we all know B does not mind the focus of the camera.

{32 weeks}

Tick-Tock-Tick-Tock
August 10th is quickly approaching as B and I slowly work on our "Baby Do It List" getting the house ready for another baby, and a soon to be crawling big brother. Luckily, my pregnancy is still going very good. It is difficult having a growing belly and an increasingly active baby at the same time, but I'm getting through it with lots of help from B, Aunti Rara and Mimi.

{home grown}

Papa has been working on a garden for Cooper's food all spring and summer since I have been making all of C's food fresh. He had bought some 'super miracle grown' for the ranch and decided to experiment on the garden as well. This is C and Papa in front of a 6 foot tomato plant that was just planted two or three months ago. He called the company and this 'super miracle grow' is supposed to be safe for food, so I pray that it really is. It is amazing how fast and huge everything grows that has been sprayed with this stuff!
Fresh tomatoes today, I have fresh squash in the oven right now for him and some fresh green beans I need to cook, all from Papa today!
Papa has been waiting for C to try out his first John Deere and even to my surprise C was able to sit on it all by himself. As you will see from the pictures, C was super excited to be driving a tractor for the first time. Now he just need to be able to reach the petals so he can get somewhere. The last picture is my favorite...

He's a Grey!
