{football Sunday}

Brandon has already started teaching Cooper all about football. Although Cooper still sleeps through most of the games he enjoys learning as much as he can while awake.
Although you can't see in these pictures the boys have something else in common, their bellies. Brandon's beer belly and Cooper's milk belly. About a two weeks ago we were out walking with the neighbors and made a little joke about the boy's bellies out of pure fun. Then a couple days ago I was walking Cooper and Jack, our 5 year old neighbor jumped out of the car upon arrival home for the evening and immediately ran over to say hi to Cooper. He ran up to the stroller, put his hand on Cooper's belly and said "Hi Cooper, you have a belly like your Daddy!"
Wow, that 5 year old has a memory!

All I have to say about this is it is sad when a dog cooperates better than a human for a photo shoot.....................................

{12 lbs 15.5oz}

Yep, you read that right. Today was Cooper's one month check up, although he is truely one and half months, 6 weeks in two days to be exact. He is now 12 lbs 15.5 oz and 23 1/2 inches long. So in a month he has gained 3 lbs 13 oz and grew one more inch, he is still holding strong in the 90 percentile.
This explains why I have already been pulling 3 month clothing out of his drawer and why he is wearing clothes meant for a 6 month old!!!
What do you think? Pro linebacker, motorcross superstar, or professional ballerina...Brandon says he is fine with which ever:)

{1st Day at the Track}

Cooper went to his first motorcross race and had so much fun! We went to the North/South TQRA race with Daddy to watch him race. He was so comfortable out in the dirt "eating and breathing race fuel." Daddy and other TQRAers are convinced that since he was breathing race fuel at 5 weeks of age he will be hooked on racing for sure. As you can tell from the pictures he slept through the whole thing and let me tell you it was very loud out there.

The weather did not cooperate, so Cooper and I headed home after we watched Caleb and Colton free-style. I think he wanted to go back because once we got home he did not want to sleep or play, we had a great family day!

{Cooper at 1 Month}

We cannot believe it has already been a month!!! There are not words to truly capture what the last month's experience has been, but to say a few words...AMAZING, EXCITING, INTRIGUING, LOVING, CUDDLY, tiring, and challenging.
So what is Cooper up to?
1. He is a hungry little (big) boy, eating 4oz every 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
2. He is already outgrowing some on his 3 month clothes!
3. He has alot of alert time, sometimes up to 3 hours at a time, but then he is very exaughsted.
4. He loves to look outside (and at the ceiling fans).
5. He loves to go for walks in the stroller so he can look at the big world.
6. He tries to talk, we just have no idea what he is saying.
7. He only cries when he is hungry, sleepy, dirty, or bored (aka wants to go outside for a walk).
8. He likes tummy time, and is really trying to get those legs working.
9. He goes right to sleep for Mommy, but prefers to try to stay awake with Daddy:)
10. He has a few nick-names: "Chunk Munk," "Mini-Me," "Hot Rod," "Squirmy," "Pirate,"and "Cooper Snooper."
