{Memorial Day}

In celebration of a lazy day off we decided to relax by the pool, ahhhh....our "ghetto plastic pool." C was excited playing the water outside for the first time.

He even tried to swim a few times, but I think we will leave that for the big pool and maybe some swim lessons. B has been working on getting the backyard 'boy' ready and there is still much more to do, but it was fun enjoying our new yard today.

{wild flowers}

Aunt Rara and I took C out to take pics in his new wagon, but since C was so fasinated by all the wildflowers we would barely get him to look at the camera. Here are a couple pics to share and after I go through the 100+ we took in hopes of a good one I hope to post a couple more.

{playin ball!}

As you look at these pics just image Cooper screaming
laughing
kicking his legs
in pure excitement
His new #1 favorite thing is playing ball with Daddy. He gets so excited you can't help stopping to watch him play, this is what childhood is all about, pure joyful happiness!

{9 months}

At 9months Cooper is frustratingly ready to crawl, but is still working on accomplishing it. He will pull up on all fours and rick back and forth, he just doesn't have the coordination to move forward yet. But, as I said last month, he can successfully get across the room by pushing, rolling and rotating in belly circles. He also likes us to help him stand up.
He has 6 teeth now and is beginning to try finger foods and chew. We gave him cheese for the first time recently and he loved it, so once again, he's just like his Daddy.
Brandon keeps saying he needs a hair cut and I disagree. He does have alot of hair and it is starting to show some curl, but we are not cutting it anytime soon.
C continues to make friends with the dogs, when they come in the room he screaches in excitement and tried to get closer to them.

{swings!}

I've been wanting to take C to the park to try out the toddler swings for a while now and we finally were able to make it today. I'm not too sure C really knew or cared about swinging, I was the one excited. I guess soon enough C will be able to enjoy the park.
