{37 weeks}

With only a few weeks left I really wanted to make time to do some maternity pictures with Brandon. Since we don't have an extra $1000 sitting around right now I asked Aunt Rara to stand behind my camera and shoot and I must say I think we got some good ones. Here are a few to share...

Not much else going on around here, mainly just waiting with anticipation wondering when Cooper will join this big big world, but I must say I don't blame him for waiting a little longer.

{Baby Eve - Take I}

Brooke and Eve invited me over for an afternoon of play yesterday. Eve is just as social as her mother so with company around she did not care to nap for more than a few minutes at a time. Brooke said they told her at the hospital that Eve is an 'active' baby, I think she is just ready to get in the dance studio and grande jete across the floor! (also, just like mom)
I had been looking forward to my first newborn shoot for months, but I had no idea how challenging newborn shoots are! I am glad I at least got a few shots and I learned alot, now I just need LOTS more practice!!!

That's 139 Christmas cards made this weekend to be exact!!! I spent the whole time while at Mindy's lakehouse making christmas cards. I want to try and sell some on etsy.com as an experiment to see if it would be worth making more to sell for other occasions as well.

Mindy and Joe are working so hard on the house for the first 'real' booking next month, the place is looking awesome!!! I am so grateful that my best friend has a lake house AND a love for scrapbooking,,,works out great for me;)

Brooke and I took a few minutes out so I could play with my camera, she was nice enough to let me take some maternity pictures of her. Here is a sneak preview, I will post a few more after I have time to edit them.

Now I am anxious for what will be mt first newborn session once Eve introduces herself to us!

{KiKi Take I}

I had what I call my first real photo shoot this week. KiKi needed no direction, her mom and Aunt were in charge of props and style, I was in charge of the camera. I could not have asked for an easier and more fun time to play with my camera. Here are just a few of my favorites!!!

She loves Gabby.. this is my absolute fav...Amazing what a tree light can do for special effects!
I am thinking future Elle model here(I didnt get the lighting right)... We already have ideas for next time, can't wait!

{Arboretum morning}

Mindy and I spent the morning at the Arboretum playing with Brooke and our new cameras, here are a few of my favorite!!!!
