{welcome Asher}

Our friends Matt and Heather delivered their first son on the 12th of October and it has taken since then for me to get this in the mail to them. I had made this with them in mind a few months ago with my fingers crossed they would have a boy and thankfully my gut feeling was right. I finished it up after I knew his name and finally made it to the post office yesterday to send it. It will be a while till we actually get to meet Asher since they recently moved to Pennsylvania...

This is the first boy album I have done and it was a bit challenging, but I was pleased with the out come, hope you like it!!

{B's Birthday!!}

This past weekend was full of Birthday celebration for Brandon! Friday, we started out with a happy hour with friends. Saturday, Brandon and I went to Fort Worth to see The Impressionist Exhibit at the Kimble Art Museum after eating lunch at Risky's BBQ (my first time), then to Southlake Town Center to shop, relax, drink coffee and people watch, then we finished the day at Kirby's. Brandon watched the UT game while I enjoyed the band. Sunday we had lunch with Brandon's mom and cousin, then went to the park with the dogs and tried to get a new family picture. Let me just tell you it is hard to get dogs to cooperate when there are people playing ball right beside you. The weekend was topped out with NAP TIME!!!

Brandon was feeling stressed during the Cowboy game and felt the boys needed more support so he got Cain dressed!!! I could not resist taking a picture!

Here is a mini album I made for my friend Kelly who is expecting, Lexi is due next month. This book was fun to make because I think it really fits with Kelly's style.

That's 139 Christmas cards made this weekend to be exact!!! I spent the whole time while at Mindy's lakehouse making christmas cards. I want to try and sell some on etsy.com as an experiment to see if it would be worth making more to sell for other occasions as well.

Mindy and Joe are working so hard on the house for the first 'real' booking next month, the place is looking awesome!!! I am so grateful that my best friend has a lake house AND a love for scrapbooking,,,works out great for me;)

Brooke and I took a few minutes out so I could play with my camera, she was nice enough to let me take some maternity pictures of her. Here is a sneak preview, I will post a few more after I have time to edit them.

Now I am anxious for what will be mt first newborn session once Eve introduces herself to us!

{KiKi Take I}

I had what I call my first real photo shoot this week. KiKi needed no direction, her mom and Aunt were in charge of props and style, I was in charge of the camera. I could not have asked for an easier and more fun time to play with my camera. Here are just a few of my favorites!!!

She loves Gabby.. this is my absolute fav...Amazing what a tree light can do for special effects!
I am thinking future Elle model here(I didnt get the lighting right)... We already have ideas for next time, can't wait!
