{R & R}

With not alot on our agenda for the weekend we did alot of relaxing. To me the best Sundays are spent just hanging around the house, possibly toying around with our hobbies, cooking yummy food, watching meaningless television, and napping. Yesterday we were both so useless the garage never opened and the scrap room was still, we just hung out mainly on the couch. I was reading my book on the big couch with Ipo so Brandon and Cain took a nap together on the little couch. These are my snuggle bugs....

Yes, by this last picture Brandon was awake and posing....thankfully Brandon grew up around a photographer so he is not camera shy!!

{home}

It is safe to say the 'kids' are happy! Their mom is home!!

Amazingly, Mom is home already! Which means prayers were answered. Thanks again for all of you who were praying for my Mom and my family and I ask that you keep us in your prayers. Faith and support is what gets us through this. Since all the emails have asked the same questions about her surgery I will just recap the last week real quick since I have not had time to email everyone back.

Tuesday she ended up in ICU due to the fact she lost so much blood during surgery...
Wednesday she graduated to the regular floor...
Thursday she was forced (encouraged) to sit up and start walking...
Friday she was showering and walking more...
Saturday she was asking for Blue Bell (which for a Grey is a good sign) and walking laps...
Sunday they kicked her out, so we are home...

As for the Doctor's report he did not have to open up any of the organs and was able to remove the tumor successfully. Now we continue to pray he got all of it and this is THE END.

~~

As for me I had time last night to get a little crafting in. Brandon made dinner while I worked on the loads of laundry and played in my scrapbook room. I altered this note book I had bought as a quick little project while I enjoyed a glass of wine...

~~

I came across this quote this morning while I was blog surfing and thought it was fitting:

If you can solve your problem,

then what is the need of worrying?

If you cannot solve it

then what is the use of worrying?

{Pray}

Pray for Mom's health...
Pray for a successful surgery...
Pray for the doctors and nurses that care for her...
Pray for an easy recovery...
Pray for strength...
Pray for the cure...

{Christian the Lion}

Some of you have heard me talk about this video. I figured out how to attach 'you tube' videos on here so I want to share. I hope it is worth your 2 1/2 minutes. This is a true picture of the value of love and relationships.

{my comfort}

I always know when sad times come back I can always get comfort from my boys. They have great smiles that warm my heart...

they give the best hugs ever...
and give warmth from their eyes...
