{Cooper the Friendly Ghost}

Cooper was a friendly ghost for halloween, just something simple since Mom here is not and never has been a big Halloween person. We went to the annual neighborhood Halloween party and saw lots of trick or treaters and enjoyed hanging out with our awesome neighbors. Before the party Cooper the Friendly Ghost and I went trick or treating at Oma and Grandaddy's to say hi, here he is ready to go cruise the neighborhood...
Next year we have to step it up a bit for his sake:)

{"over 95%"}

And the results are in...Cooper is in the "over 95 percentile." I assume that is what the doctors say to appease insurance companies now, if you get what I am saying. We went to our '2 month' check up today although we are technically 10 weeks tomorrow. Cooper is now 15 lbs 14.5oz and 24 1/2 inches long. So, in four weeks he has gained 3 pounds and grew one inch. Now I have 3 huge boxes of size 1 diapers to exchange for size 2, I can't believe my 10 week old is wearing 3-6 month clothing and size 2 diapers. I must say his chubby cheeks are the cutest!

{2 months}

You always hear that "kids grow up so fast", but I never truly understood the truth in this statement until now. While it is obvious that lil Cooper is growing big and strong he is also developing so fast. He is working so hard to hold his head up independently, push up with his arms and to talk to us. While he is not a fan of tummy time, he works very hard while on his play mat. He loves to sit in our laps and hold a 'conversation' all while smiling and even giggling a little. He has started to track objects and identify sounds, from differentiating voices to calming down at the sound of the bottle shaking. Everyday is an adventure and so fun for all of us!

{football Sunday}

Brandon has already started teaching Cooper all about football. Although Cooper still sleeps through most of the games he enjoys learning as much as he can while awake.
Although you can't see in these pictures the boys have something else in common, their bellies. Brandon's beer belly and Cooper's milk belly. About a two weeks ago we were out walking with the neighbors and made a little joke about the boy's bellies out of pure fun. Then a couple days ago I was walking Cooper and Jack, our 5 year old neighbor jumped out of the car upon arrival home for the evening and immediately ran over to say hi to Cooper. He ran up to the stroller, put his hand on Cooper's belly and said "Hi Cooper, you have a belly like your Daddy!"
Wow, that 5 year old has a memory!

All I have to say about this is it is sad when a dog cooperates better than a human for a photo shoot.....................................
