{moving on up!!!}

Cooper has officially outgrown his infant car seat so we did a little shopping today for C's new ride. He was so happy when we put him in it, kicking his feet and tapping his hands. I think he was glad to not be cramed into the infant seat and now has room to stretch out and grow more!
We also introduced him to his sippy cup with water. I was so shocked. I literally handed him the cup, he put it straight into his mouth and started drinking the water. I think he was a little confused as to what he was drinking, but if he is anything like his mom, he'll be a water drinker!

{6 month check-up}

The Stats:

Weight: 22.2lbs
Length: 29 inches

That means he is still over 95% as in off the charts!

Daddy got to go with us to our appointment today and Daddy cried just as much as C when he (C) got his shots, it was too cute(tear). And we both hear C say "mama" twice while he was crying!! Go me! I know...he had no clue what he was saying, but I felt very needed:)

{6 months}

Just posting these pictures of the last 6 months I see through them how his personality has developed. He thankfully continues to be the "happy baby" we have always called him. It is such a joy to watch him throughout the day just smile and smile and smile. The true joy of childhood.

6 months....I can't believe it. I am so excited for Cooper as he is growing and developing every day. He is more aware of his surroundings watching everything and everyone. He is trying to be as mobile as he can be, scooting, pushing, rolling and turning to maneuver himself where he wants to be. He likes to play in his jumperoo and bounce around while grabbing at his toys. He continues to find his voice, especially enjoying talking in his highest octave when Daddy is trying to sleep in. He is a great eater, devouring his fruits and veggies at each meal, hopefully this healthy appetite will stay. And we are expecting any day now for this first tooth to officially break through.

Today, rather than be sad about the fact that the last 6 months have flown by I have found myself anticipating what the next 6 months will bring!

{snow dayz}

Cooper got to see more snow than Mommy and Daddy have ever seen in their lives! True fact: this 14 inch snow storm is the most in Dallas in years and years and years. Thursday night when Cooper was sound asleep we lost power at our house so Aunt Farrah came to the rescue and then we spent a couple of nights with her. Brandon rigged the house to a generator so we could come back home and finally on Sunday we got our power back. It was fun seeing all the snow, but we are glad to be home and warm and be thawing out:)
