That's 139 Christmas cards made this weekend to be exact!!! I spent the whole time while at Mindy's lakehouse making christmas cards. I want to try and sell some on etsy.com as an experiment to see if it would be worth making more to sell for other occasions as well.

Mindy and Joe are working so hard on the house for the first 'real' booking next month, the place is looking awesome!!! I am so grateful that my best friend has a lake house AND a love for scrapbooking,,,works out great for me;)

Brooke and I took a few minutes out so I could play with my camera, she was nice enough to let me take some maternity pictures of her. Here is a sneak preview, I will post a few more after I have time to edit them.

Now I am anxious for what will be mt first newborn session once Eve introduces herself to us!

{KiKi Take I}

I had what I call my first real photo shoot this week. KiKi needed no direction, her mom and Aunt were in charge of props and style, I was in charge of the camera. I could not have asked for an easier and more fun time to play with my camera. Here are just a few of my favorites!!!

She loves Gabby.. this is my absolute fav...Amazing what a tree light can do for special effects!
I am thinking future Elle model here(I didnt get the lighting right)... We already have ideas for next time, can't wait!

{expecting Eve}

Today was Brooke's shower for Eve, we are all hoping to meet her in late October. I made this book as a gift out of the paper that Brooke and I love!!!

Not so great photo, but this is Brooke acting excited about the book although she watched me scrap most it one day we were scrapping at Mindy's house...

Check out the cake Mindy made for the shower, and yes she made those botties out of fondit, isn't that amazing!!!

I can't wait to use Brooke as a guine pig. I hope to make a day to take maternity pictures before Eve gets here. I will share her awesome nursey then!!!

{2 Lap Johnson}

I had my first chance to try photographing Brandon racing this past weekend. I was helping in the office throughout the race so I didn't get as much time outside with the camera as I would have liked, but I still got a few good pictures. Here is Brandon jumping the finish line...
And here he is after the final lap with his tounge hanging out!!! I love this picture:)

I could not resist taking a shot of my favorite thing about motorcross racing. Sometimes by the time we leave a track I am in physical pain due to my resistance to port-o-potties and my inabilty to 'squat' or 'hover.' If we ever build a track (which is high on Brandon's "if we ever win the lottery" list) I will make sure to have very accesible, clean, working bathrooms to avoid the torture of supposedly cinnamon and flower scented sewage.
And to explain the title of this post, 2 Lap Johnson is Brandon's TQRA nickname...need I explain?
